WINDOWS 95/98/ME SETUP
The first thing you will need to do is install the software onto your computer system. To do this you simply insert the CD-Rom disk into your CD-Rom drive and when the box pops up asking you to install, simply click on the little computer icon to install FMS.
Once you get into FMS you will need to setup your controller by clicking along the top where it says "Controls". Then click on "Analog Controls" and if you have done this correctly you will see the screen below.

For Windows 95/98/ME you will want to highlight "serial/parallel 32bit interface" by clicking once upon it. Once this is highlighted you can click the "resources" button. In the resources screen you will want to select "COM1" if your interface is for the serial port (silver connector has 9pins) or "LPT1" if your interface is for the parallel port (silver connector has 25pins). Then click the "ok" button to continue.

Next you will need to calibrate your controller by clicking the "Mapping/Calibration" button. You should see the screen below. To calibrate your radio make sure that it is plugged into the serial port and switched turned ON. Then click on the calibrate button on the right half of the screen. The blue bars should now move with each stick's input. Simply follow the commands under the blue bars to set it up. When finished click finish and hit the okay button to return to the simulator.

If when trying to fly you notice that the channels are mixed up such as rudder controlling throttle or ailerons controlling elevator etc, you will need to return to the "mapping/calibration" screen and change the channels accordingly on the left side of the screen. The setup for futaba is typically 1=aileron, 2=elevator, 3=throttle, 4=rudder. To use a four channel radio with the helicopters you will want to repeat the sequence of first four numbers in the last four boxes. ie 2134 2134.
If you still are unable to get the blue bars to move and you are sure that your radio is plugged in and turned on correctly click
